How it ends - Limited Editions of 5 Photograph

I heard from different sources that sad incidents are happening in mashhad zoo, then I as an artist felt responsible and decided to act according and use my meduim to capture what is possible and share it with those who are not aware. Once I steped into zoo I have realized animals there look normal from the outside but from the inside they were broken and have been tortured emotionally and physically. I witnessed something there and that was about two actresses wanted to take a photo with a male lion, a veterinarian came and ordered one the zoo keepers to shoot sleeping bulet to lion in order to make him faint and prepare him for a photo with the actresses, but the zoo workers used violence to perform this task. They forced the female to male into the cave and closed the gate on her. One of the zoo keepers warned me and told me that I am not allowed to take photo and don't stay here. I took few steps and left the incident,but I went back as soon as I saw the crowed. I monitored the male lion's behavior and I only few seconds to take my photo because zoo workers could come back quickly; therefore, I had to be quick and try my best to capture that sad moment before the was going to faint. In this photo you could see me and my camera in the reflection of the lion's eye as he cries. The lion's eye in this photo is reflecting the lion's desire in that sad moment, he though that his life would end this way. As soon as I captured the photo the lion fainted. This is how it ends... The original photo will be printed on a very high quality canves and the details will be sharp and clear.
