About The Artwork
The model year 1928/1929 and some of the 1928 Hudson Essex had "Icarus" the flying man (God) as the official mascot on the radiator cap. This hood ornament (radiator mascot) in the picture here has been well upgraded. Proper Hudson hood ornament would be from 1928. This Hudson Super Six, however, is built in the 1919th. Die Modelljahre 1928/1929 und einige Hudson der 1928er von Essex hatte "Icarus" der fliegende Mann (Gott) als offizielles Maskottchen auf dem Kühlerdeckel. Diese Kühlerfigur (radiator mascot) auf dem Bild hier ist wohl nachgerüstet worden. Die richtige Hudson Kühlerfigur wäre die von 1928. Dieser Hudson Super Six ist jedoch Baujahr 1919.
