In February last winter, the cold has frozen the surface of a lake in the south of Vienna. Fascinating how the patterns of the thick ice vary, due to the wind, temperature and the conditions below the ice. Leaves, branches, plants, and traces of ice-skates take part in this surprising scenery which will only last for quite a short time. Even more, a reason to freeze such astonishing beauty, and to emphasize the abstract note. https://chrismasto.art https://www.chrismasto-art.com/ email@example.com Christina Maria Stowasser alias Chrismasto is an Austrian born professional photographer and self-taught visual artist, based in Austrias capital Vienna. No doubt that she’s passionate about creating images. Photography started to become a major tool in her work-range during a world tour 2003 to 2005. In fact it was her fascination for the greatness and beauty of nature that had sparked that fire. Since then it has spread into various directions, such as travel and nature, landscape, abstract, nude, architecture, portraiture, and especially photo documentations and fine art photography. Artistically active since her childhood, her photos also show a visual language characterized by creativity, and reflect a pronounced sense of aesthetics. She wants to tell a story across all styles, mostly creating a documentary or conceptual series that show different facets or perspectives of a theme. Driven by a nature-protective motivation, her subjects and main characters are mostly found in the wild. The applied technology and the accentuated digital image processing should catch the eye at first glance. But it is, in fact, to take a closer look at the substance of beauty and nature. The buzzword here is the value of life in all its forms. The effect caused is to stimulate one's own perception for this greater significance. Here, colors, as well as in nature, effectively take part and often harmonize together with black and white. In fact, a majority of her images are works of art whose content and meaning play the major role, beyond the comfort of the creator or the beholder and the market. With this endeavor in mind, this artist has a completely intuitive way of working on location, adapting to all sorts of motives and moments that she wants to preserve for eternity. Her landscape- and wildlife shots arise along travels, dives, mountain hikes and dog-walks. On the one hand, she is an admirer of random events and their imperfections, but also attaches great importance to high image quality and an appropriate presentation. Since completing her photographer diploma in 2013, she started her business with Fine Art & Illustrations, Press- & Event Photography, Portraiture, Artist-Portraits, Business-Portraits & Architecture.
