Imbalanced Yin-Yang Photograph

I feel the world is on a turmoil where everything is getting more radical. Many people see everything in black and white and that makes me very unconfortable. Worse, those people are in the power seats and this can drive us towards catastrophic results. On this idea I ended up deconstructing the universal symbol of balance, yin-yang, excluding the seeds of black in the white and the white in the black, just so that people can realize what is happening, When we dont understand that there is always a part of the opposite in everything, that is, there is a woman inside a man, a jew inside a muslim, a daughter inside a mother, ..., it gets pretty hard to understand and respect the other. My hope is that people use this as a wake up call and start seeing the other as part of ourselves. I tried many things to get to this artwork, started using wheat powder and bottle caps, ended up doing it on a plate with a string cord separating both sides, than edited it in Photoshop to get to the final effect I wanted, Instead of black and white colors, I used faded light grey and faded dark grey, so that we understand how both sides of the story are actually quite similar in the end.
