About The Artwork

Today we have roads, paths, mail, internet, etc, but in the XIV century on an island in the middle of a bay in northern Spain a monastery of Capuchin monks only had this stone pier to communicate with the outside world. Today is unnecessary but after six centuries to a this is impassive, willing to continue offering their service, between the sea and fog makes us see that human beings have always had the need to communicate with the world and this construction shows that after centuries the efforts of those men in the past were not in vain because here today is no use but showing its importance and meaning centuries later, focusing on time and nature without losing its bearings. Photograph printed on Hahnemuhle Photo RAG Baryta 315 paper, its great whiteness for a paper without OBA (optical brighteners) associated with a discreet texture. Hahnemühle qualifies this paper as extra glossy but, if we compare it with other barite papers, it reflects less, thus improving the visualization of prints and giving more prominence to photography.
