In too Deep Photograph

The work is part of an ongoing exploration of unresolved environmental concerns of the 21st century. The work is located in the Irish landscape providing a rich, unkempt and decaying background that forms a backdrop for visual expressions of global imbalance, environmental destruction, the cyclical nature of existence and our deep connection to the planet and it's guiding forces. The images explore, technically the photographic potential of creating surreal melded images from several different shots (sometimes as many as 30 photographs) onto one seamlessly constructed print. The aim is to harness the creative capabilities of Photoshop but in doing so not to compromise the craft of Photography.
