Art Description

Photography: Lenticular, Digital, Color, Manipulated, Dye Transfer on Other.

Introspection is the examination of one’s own conscious thoughts and feelings. In psychology, the process of introspection relies exclusively on observation of one’s mental state, while in a spiritual context, it may refer to the examination of one’s soul.
In this image, the metallic gears symbolize the complex conscious and unconscious mental mechanism of oneself.
The door handle symbolizes the inner reflection process.
When we reflect on our thoughts, emotions and memories and examine what they mean, we are engaging in that process.
The symbol of the eyes:
The eyes are like the windows to the soul; the eyes tell a story. One look into it can reveal if you are hiding sadness behind a smile or are lying to the person you love. Whatever you say, your eyes betray you, every time you try to do something differ- ently. It is no wonder why they say “the eyes are the open windows to the soul of a person”.Collaborative artwork Photography Luz Perez Ojeda/ Ekaterinchev. Artwork in sale in Galerie Montmartre Paris
