About The Artwork

The rendezvous was at Fort Tryon park on the upper west side next to the Cloisters. It was a beautiful spring afternoon as we walked underneath a giant vaulted open structure where light entered through the giant arches. She looks stunning as she recalled a memory. This image was printed on Mulberry bark paper and fixed to two old wooden planks. The merging of materials, the past and the present, the now and our memory comes to life.
