About The Artwork
After David’s stroke in 2012 which left him aphasic and paralyzed on his right side he has found renewed purpose in photography. Even though he has had to learn to approach his work with a different mindset. He knows he will never be able to create as he once did as a photographer but rather create new works that will strengthen his creativity. This picture is of a Koi Pond in Anniston, Alabama. The first copy hangs in Spain Rehab in Birmingham, Alabama where David spent months rehabilitating from his stroke.
