ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In 2019 my book on the Fort Worth Stockyards was published. This is one of the favorite images from the collection. The works also were shown in a one-person exhibit at Craighead Green Gallery in Dallas, Texas. I attended and photographed often at the Stockyard Rodeo, and loved the lasso artist and his horse so much. The darkness and spot light add to the magic of the photograph.
