About The Artwork
The photograph was made in a restaurant while shooting a commercial for a leather bag collection. So, while on pause, I placed a leather bag in the fridge where pig heads were hanging, and tried with long exposure to emphasize the relief structure of the fat on the inner back of the fridge. I went on afterwards to shoot the commercial. Photo is kinda reviving the moment of self-hypocrisy. What struck me the most was the expression on heads - calmness, serenity, kinda Mona-Lisa's enigmatic smile, weird intimate dormant communication that one can sense in the bizarre silence of the scene.
