About The Artwork

"Leopard on the log" is a Limited Edition Fine Art Print that is part of the Special Collection "Inspired by the African Wilderness" and it is also part of my personal Project following research of two unique predators, the most elusive among all the big cats- African Leopard and a critically endangered Cheetah in the Kalahari Desert. "Leopard on the log" is a photograph of a gorgeous, 7-year-old leopard, Itumeleng. Although all leopards are unique, for me, very few leopards can compare to the beauty, elegance, and charisma Itumeleng owns. I started following this leopardess in 2017 when she was still a young female. She has grown into a mature and confident lady since then. In fact, she has two cubs of her own now. "Leopard on the log" is photographer's dream come true. A moment when our paths crossed again, she picked this branch and lay down and started watching me can be described as pure magic. "Leopard on the log" is printed on Premium quality Ilford Galerie Prestige Fine Art Textured Silk Paper that is a warm tone paper that offers a 25% cotton and 75% cellulose alternative capable of delivering stunning contrast and sharpness with a large colour gamut. "Leopard on the log" is numbered and signed by the Artist and the Certificate of Authenticity will come together with the Print. Limited Edition Fine Art Print of "Leopard on the log" is in A1 size. Other sizes are available on request. By purchasing this Limited Edition Fine Art Print you are supporting my personal Project aimed at researching this unique species which I believe helps increase awareness and as a result helps the conservation efforts of this epic predator living in the Kalahari Desert. Thank you for your support. It is highly appreciated.

Born in the Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia. As a young child, Alisa moved with her parents to Africa, Nigeria to the small town of Ajaoukuta. That is where her love for the African continent and its wildlife was born. As a wildlife lover, naturalist and wildlife photographer, Alisa is in awe of the African wilderness and its wildlife. She is mesmerized by the immense beauty of raw Africa and this is the place that she sees as her home. Through her artwork, Alisa strives to engage the viewer in a conversation that would inspire them to slow down, reconnect with the wild and discover beauty in the most unusual places. Empowered to raise a voice for the wild animals, her fine art pieces are paying tribute to the raw beauty of Africa that is both so unique and fragile. The subjects in her photographs are only free-roaming species living in the wilds of Africa in their wild habitats. Alisa's African wildlife artworks are the exact reflections of the special moments witnessed in the wild and created in-camera, free of digital manipulation. Her creations are meant to inspire you to have a closer look at the natural world and experience the raw beauty of Africa.
