Lone Surfer - Limited Edition of 3 Photograph

I was born in Romania and had a childhood full of books, visits to art galleries, travel, movies, and many friends in the world of theater. Early in my teens my family moved to Toronto, Canada, where I finished high school and went to college. My major was film production, but I entered it through the path of still photography and that remains a huge part of me. In creative work I have been a writer and director of documentaries, dramatic shorts and features. I have an abundant thirst for knowledge and a curiosity that will not be fenced in. I enjoy scouting trips and exploring new locations. Sometimes all it takes is one intriguing spot to give me an idea for an entire story. When looking through a lens I am fascinated by unusual concepts, intellectual challenges and "what if" kind of questions. My aim is to tell original stories and speak as directly as possible to the human soul.
