ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I photographed these palm trees during a trip I took to Montevideo, Uruguay, in 2017. Now, in 2023, I had the idea to do the job of reducing her colors to just two: white and black. I thought this would give a modern look to the image, causing it to gain neutrality and versatility, if it would be similar to most styles of decoration. I was quite pleased with the final result.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
