The diptych is composed of one image split in two parts. The left side represents the Masculine energy in a relationship and the right side represents the Feminine energy. The brightest part of the image is the union where the Masculine and the Feminine meet. In The Way of the Superior Man, David Deida makes a simile between women and the ocean, both powerful, deep and free to change moods at any moment for no apparent reason. Men are encouraged to elevate their masculinity to embrace this powerful energy and experience the feminine in all its glory. He writes: "Let her be the ocean. Encourage her to be as free as the ocean, as deep as the ocean, as wild as the ocean, and as powerful as the ocean. Be so full in your loving, so strong and stable in your presence, that she can just let go and surrender the limits she has put on her feelings. Let the emotions of her heart flow unguarded. Let her love be expressed with no limits. Let her go mad with love." The photo representing the feminine energy has the mantra Sat Patim Dehi Parameshwara written in red Sanskrit letters. This mantra is chanted when a woman wants to attract a man and means: please give to me a man of truth who embodies the perfect masculine attributes. The photo representing masculine energy has the mantra Om Shrim Shriyei Namaha, is chanted when a man wants to attract a woman into his life and means: Om and salutations to the creative abundance that is the very form of this universe. Images are printed in Hahnemühle Fine Art 100% cotton paper of 308 gsm and protected with Hahnemühle protective spray.
