About The Artwork
This photo was taken up in Jasper, Alberta. I fell in love with the natural image but as I looked into the valley even more, I saw a half of "her". So, I flipped the image, joined them together, then manipulating the photo to reveal the 'Masking of Mother Nature'. I was able to create, with all natural surroundings, a vision of Mather Nature herself. I see her high collars of earth and stone, robes of rock and furs of evergreen. The once river, now looking like a mask covering her eyes. This is one of my favourite images due to its' powerful imagery and all it stands for. With the world in the state it is in today, awareness of what we are doing to Mother Nature needs to be spread. Let us not mask her but embrace her. This image is 12X20 with a 1 inch border.

I then moved to Toronto, Canada and currently reside in Alberta, Canada. I love so many various artists and photographers from the great classics to the modern day ones.
