And what happens when man leaves this space again? This work of art is part of a series about extinct volcanoes, which were used by man as quarries for a time. What the selected sites have in common is that after commercial use they were designated as protected areas where nature can develop again without human intervention. The series is part of a long-term project. The photographs used for the artwork show individual perspectives that are interrelated. The various photographs were taken in one place at different times of day and night with different high-resolution cameras during the course of 2019 and later developed into a collage of images on the computer. Limited edition: 12 + 1 AP The artwork offered here (No.: #145-2.1/12) was printed in limited edition in the artist's studio and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. The giclée print was made with pigmented ink of the highest archive quality on matt cotton paper 308 g/m2. The matt paper guarantees a natural image reproduction with high colour depth without reflections and is characterised by a soft surface and feel. The print has an all-round material addition for later framing (the artwork is delivered without frame).
