Art Description

Photography: Photo on Paper.

This picture was taken on my farm the morning after Black Saturday. I knew something very terrible had happened and felt incredibly sad when I took this photograph. The Black Saturday bushfires were a series of fires in the state of Victoria in Australia on the 7th of February, 2009. The fires caused Australia's highest ever loss of life from a bush fire. Claiming 173 human lives and countless animal lives. We were lucky the fires came close but we were spared.
