This Fine Art Nude Photograph was conceived by shooting the image in my studio and then applying an Image Transfer Technique. For many years I've entertained myself by spending a million hours or more playing with the varied techniques of Image Transfer. When I'm eventually satisfied with the outcome I’ve achieved, I save the image digitally (in High Resolution) and create a print using the finest museum quality rag paper on the market. It is 300 grams of beautifully and very lightly textured Archival printing paper and will last 100 years or more. I sell my work in limited editions, which are numbered and signed on the front. Since the beginning of Time (my time that is..) as a fine art photographer, the Nude has entered, departed and re-entered my life on many occasions. There is just something so incredibly beautiful about the female form. (I can't say no to chocolate cake either) Timeless and poetic, the female form is the inspiration of many great literary legends. The Nude is not in itself a sexual entity; it is great visual power that hides mysteries that I always find intriguing. I hope you enjoy how I tell my story in the visual sense. I'm happy to entertain any questions or curiosities.

Eliot Siegel (that's me..) was born at St Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan in October of 1958. (They've torn it down, so sad) When Black & White Photography was offered for the first time in my NY high school, (1974) I jumped at the chance and a great passion was born. Continuing in photography and psychology at University, I studied fine art, portraiture and fashion. Back in the real world, (1980) after 4 years as assistant fashion photographer in NYC, I packed up and moved to Milan, Italy for 4 years, then Paris and finally settling in London as a fashion magazine and fashion advertising photographer. I was fortunate enough to have worked for British Vogue, GQ, Manner Vogue, (Munich) Italian Harper's Bazaar, (Milan) L'Officiel (Paris) and quite a few more. Before I had left for Milan in 1985, I'd worked in NYC for Cosmopolitan and Essence magazines. I Always kept my heart in the Fine Art mode, throughout my career.
