Nudes - Retrospective Series (40 Year Anniversary) As much as possible, the images are true to the original film negatives with no digital effects apart from cleaning up of dust, scratches, hairs and water marks. These are mostly retouched by hand without using generic, blunt, automated filters. All the special effects produced ‘in camera’. Inspired by the photographs of Man Ray, Bill Brandt and Edward Weston. These images were produced with 35mm Black and White Film. Many of the original negatives were quite badly damaged. Certain images would have been too tricky to produce with issues that can now easily be rectified using digital retouching.
