Ophelia sta morendo è una vittima dell'amore e lo è anche per la natura stessa che nella foto emerge in maniera mirabile. E' un opera di immenso amore per la natura ,per l'immagine femminile e nel contempo stesso però di agghiacciante immobilità di quel momento, un attimo prima che tutto finisca.
