Ushka I Shakhnis

Born in Odessa, Ukraine and raised on the streets of NYC and based in Miami over the last several decades . I am an artist constantly yearning for and searching out beauty in my visual landscape , expressing thoughts, ideas, and feelings through my work. I shoot with manual legacy lenses from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, embracing the warmth and flaws of vintage 35mm technology to create an intimate cinematic at times moody atmosphere. My images create intimate, cinematic, and nostalgic imagery. This work bridges analog aesthetics with contemporary coastal life, offering critics a study in light and mood while providing collectors with evocative, limited-edition art that makes a statement !
