PRIMAL SPECIMEN...limited edition No 2 of 5 available Photograph

Print one of an alchemy inspired series of limited edition prints that explore mankind’s most primal instincts. In the summer of 2008 Providence led me West of Saint Louise, Missouri to the Riverside Wildlife Center, a menagerie of abandoned wildlife rescued by Bill and Lynn Fitzgerald. Amongst their primal brood were seventy gators including Goliath a twelve footer. During the heat of the day the gators lay dormant...reserving their energy for the evening feeding frenzy. Minutes before feeding they jockeyed for position proving the perfect moment for me to shimmy out onto a plank and take my shots! Only later, when processing my images, did I see their pupils focused sharply on me as if I was dinner!
