About The Artwork
Photo 180-Series is an image in a series of splashart abstract images created with my SplashArt abstract painting technique (paint and water). Though it is a print of the painting, it is a painting itself! (see how on my Youtube or Instagram videos) I am energized with creative ambition by the autonomous reaction of "splashart" abstract art. I then capture digital photos with minimal digital enhancement to show enrichment of color and detail. Photos are taken using a Nikon DSLR camera with an 18-55mm lens camera I officially sign all work A certificate of authenticity is given only 25 copies max will be sold in this LE Canvas prints are: Giclee printed on canvas UV coated acrylic finish to protect from fading, dust and moisture Gallery Wrapped with 1 1/2'' wooden support bars create a finished look that allows you to hang without a frame

Mixed-Media Artist Former K-12 Visual Fine Arts Educator Community Volunteer Social Justice/Environmental Art Activist I'm a lifetime artist-educator inspired to create by using traditional methods, self-expression, and new media techniques. I draw inspiration from patterns of nature, portraits, animals, and the environment around me. My art depicts personal life experiences and social and environmental concerns. Currently, I'm creating abstract photography by the acrylic pour painting method combined with a technique I call "splashart"- by which water and paint splash together. Simultaneously, I capture still images of the paint and water transitioning and morphing to create abstract paintings. Professional photography prints are then produced. When necessary, digital enhancement is used to enhance the quality of images.
