VIEW IN MY ROOM
Driving in central Illinois I came across this abandoned Schoolhouse on a beautiful sunny May day. In a rush, I was able to get this exposure of it on a Rolleiflex before the sun had shifted too far. The print is made in my home darkroom matching a particular paper. to one of the custom developers that I make. Only a few prints at a time are made from a negative in several variations: so no two are exactly alike making each truly unique. Archival Silver Gelatin Fiber Print 10 by 10-inch size clamshell mated on archival museum board 16x20. The print is hinged mounted and removable, both mat and print are signed.

Traditional Film Photography is my world. Using Black & White film with multiple camera formats (5x4inch to 35mm) and a Darkroom creating Archival Silver Gelatin fibre prints in my home laboratory. Each print is truly unique as no two will totally match each other. Produced only in very small batches usually with slight variations between each print, making all limited editions. My work revolves around common objects in nature and architecture using ambient Light and Shadow to produce powerful Photographs. The web doesn't do them justice -as each display, unfortunately, renders them very differently. Originally from Chagrin Falls Ohio, United States. With a long background in the arts in New York City, currently living in southeastern PA near (Chadds Ford). www.reinertphoto.com www.reinertphoto.blogspot.com
