Limited Edition Print - number 6 of 50 This is one of the few remaining abandoned RR bridges in Wayland, MA (just west of Boston). The print won first prize at the Newton MA Art Exhibition in 2017. A nice description of the winning piece was written by the judge of the art show: "This is a study in contrasts between the natural and the human-made, the solid and the elusive. The rippling water, reflecting the clouds above are in a different world from the metal, wood and stone of the train tracks. The high-keyed colors serve to emphasize this contrast even further." Joanna Fink, Director, Alpha Gallery At every art exhibition this is the print that draws viewers and starts conversations. Questions are asked about he sky and clouds appearing under the bridge. Noting was manipulated, the sky is reflected in the water below the bridge. Archival pigment ink was used on archival 100 percent Canson paper which is capable of rendering the rich colors in this scene. The limited edition print is produced one at a time in the artist's print studio in Sudbury MA.
