About The Artwork

This is a one shot long exposure (10 sec) photo, that contains the movement of one model. The concept of the rising naked, slim figure was inspired by a personal experience, overcoming a great lost, and the slow steps looking forward and rebuilding life afterwards. Though this image presents darkness, it also describes fighting with your own daemons – and for me it represents hope. I spend my night dancing with my own shadow And it holds me and it never lets me go I move slow and steady But I feel like a waterfall Yeah, I move slow and steady Past the ones that I used to know My dear old friend, take me for a spin Two wolves in the dark, running in the wind I'm letting go, but I've never felt better Passing by all the monsters in my head ######################################## Printed on a Gluster semi-mat fine art paper. White boarders are left for flexible framing. Adjustments can be made on request.

The world which we are living in was always fascinating for me, Dreams about far-away scenery and culture filled my childhood. The love story with Photography started somewhere at elementary school - we were givan an old SLR's and a film, developing film and printing the photos in the school's dark room - it was Magic. For the first time I could make someone see and feel exactly how I felt at certain moment, the adult translation - sharing your point of view and ideas with the reast of the world. After my army service I went to explore Africa by foot for six months - accompanied by two cameras, a few lenses and a very heavy bagpack. During my service I held my camera only a few times - and then, in the middle of the black continent - I started SEEING the world again. Paying attention, investigating details, looking at pepole's souls through the metal and glass box in my hands.
