About The Artwork
I was visiting Chiricahua National Monument in southern Arizona, and was walking along a wash when I noticed this ridge-line. The clouds had a beautiful texture behind the rocky cliff face, and everything about it was so incredibly Arizona. The image to me seemed like it could have been taken anywhere, and that's what I loved about it, it's just a classic southwestern image I've seen so much, but always in a different location.
