Traveling along the Mediterranean coast of Morocco, from the village of Oued Laou to the small fishing village of Jebha. In the early morning, a road that runs along the whole of northern Morocco, with the Rif mountain range behind and the sea always in front, curved and more curved, small fishing villages are planted all the way. Obviously the stops were forced, because the visual findings I was finding captivated me more and more. I think this image conveys the gift of calm, tranquility and peace that I felt that day. This brings me to a snippet of a text: "The coast of the others was not so diverse as ours: cliffs overgrown with scrub that sheltered very sweet coves of dark sand and suddenly sectioned by the openings caused by the many rivers that flowed there. The waters poured by the streams clouded the sea and covered of pebbles the beaches where the barge and small boats of fishermen frequented. The search for another paradise had taken me to distant lands, if not in terms of distance and orography, but in terms of culture. And I also enjoyed those intensely for a long time. Once again I felt the warmth of a sincere welcome, the gratifying pleasure of hospitality, the emotion of contact with what is still a mystery, the well-being of having nature nearby in the wild. And fate was kind to me again and I let myself sway with its breeze for a long time. I witnessed the harshness of life and also its sweetness. " Ivone Puig-Artigas, 150 miles south of Cap. Tales from Morocco. (My dear wife and companion on the trip) Carefully printed on Hahnemühle Baryta 325g Fine Art cotton paper, with aluminum backing (Dibond) and intentionally frameless, in a limited and signed edition of 10 units per photograph.
