Splash Photograph

Splash is a collage of a series of photographs taken during a process of about four months. One of the most challenging elements of this work was to think about how to use photography in a non-representative manner that was not necessarily done through light painting or ultra-processing . I really like these techniques and when my artistic production was more recurrent they were techniques that I used frequently, but for this work I wanted to work with something that brought the non-Platonic image not strictly by manipulating it to the point of abstract but to work with resemblance elements that, in the context of the work, could detach themselves from representation, like Escher when he worked with drawings that escaped Euclidean geometry.
