About The Artwork
I have created lots of work about the ocean and the bodies of water near where I have lived - Lake Michigan in Chicago and now the California Coast. This image was shot on an unusually warm day in February and these surfers were moving down the Malibu beach to find better waves. I like the timeless quality of this image which is why I printed it in black and white.
