TEE TIME. is photography collection of 9 art pieces, taking the golf tee as a main subject for an abstract rendering. It is a tribute to the movement learning process in order to achieve a desired result. The photography is composed of real golf tees arranged on an Acrylic painted canva. Athletes, dancers, craftsmen, musicians or painters all have trained their body motions to express themselves. Studio LIM. provides its own interpretation at the crossing of golf, action dripping and photography for an abstract, fractal rendering. Just as with the golf swing, the learning of a gesture to arrange the tees is at the heart of the creative process of the series of 9 photographic works that make up the TEE TIME project. TEE TIME. is born from the repetition of a movement. A gesture that is initially dissociated and irregular, but which, by dint of iterations, becomes more precise, more harmonious and more constant. The failure leads to the movement repetition until the desired result is achieved. A form of creation that echoes Jackson Pollock's "dripping" ballets through the fractal motif that can be found in each of the works in the collection. “New needs need new techniques. And the modern artists have found new ways and new means of making their statements…the modern painter cannot express this age, the airplane, the atom bomb, the radio, in the old forms of the Renaissance or of any other past culture.” - Jackson Pollock.

Studio LIM. is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Zürich by French artists Ben Moreau and Leo C. It is inspired by the philosophy of the Bauhaus school and finds inspiration in minimalism and Gesamtkunstwerk - or "total work of art" - which are the main drivers of the studio's projects. Through the use of different techniques and media, such as photography, industrial design, painting and mechanical engineering, the Idea does not remain merely a thought but is materialised into a unique work of art, a "final piece" - or "original". With an approach based on purpose and process, the boundary between art, science and craft becomes blurred and leaves room for multiple interpretation by the viewer. This creative scheme is representative of the people behind the studio, for whom expression, realisation and transmission are constants.
