Terror Is Temporary - Limited edition tri-panel from China Town in Lower East Side Manhattan / New York - Limited Edition of 5 Photograph

A three part series known as "Terror Is Temporary" printed on beautiful archival acrylic with floating wall mounts. There is a graffiti in China Town, Manhattan (New York City) where “Terror works” was tagged on the top of a building that was constructed in 1871. From a nearby building One World Trade is framed by this tagged rooftop.⁣ Panel 1: Purple Haze is the first in a series of three captured moments from a single day in the same location. It was captured via a single exposure during a crystal clear sunrise casting a beautiful spectrum of rich purple, pink, and blue hues. Panel 2: Wake Me Up When I Am Famous is the second in a series of three captured moments from a single day in the same location. It was captured via a single exposure during a winter day that transitioned from a crystal clear purple and pink sunrise into a whimsical day of fast moving clouds. The wind was, in part, serving to dry out clothes hanging on the rooftop of a building in China Town in New York's Lower East Side. One shirt on the clothesline brandishes the phrase "Wake Me Up When I Am Famous". Panel 3: The Clock Starts Now is the last in a series of three captured moments from a single day in the same location. It was captured via a single exposure during a winter day that transitioned from a crystal clear purple and pink sunrise into a whimsical day of fast moving clouds then finally into the high energy evening that earns New York the reputation of being the city that never sleeps. With One World Trade standing tall in the skyline, along with other internationally recognizable skyscrapers, the juxtaposition between the 19th century China Town buildings still serving the lower east side is a testament to the fact that terror is only temporary. A numbered series of five complete sets were produced at 15x30 as archival acrylic prints. Each comes signed and numbered. Floating wall mount and hardware included.
