About The Artwork

This image is a good example of how our perception of the landscape changes depending on where we stand. I photographed this sea stack many times, from many different positions, and there are not two images that look the same, or even similar. This rock is shaped in such a way that by moving just a few steps in any direction it seems to transform completely. Proportions change, it can be sharper or rounder, sometimes it even "melts" with other rocks around it. A good reminder of the importance of choosing where to shoot from in landscape photography. If we look at the world 100 times, we'll see 100 different worlds! The original is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Satin 310 gsm 100% Cotton white satin-finish paper and manually signed.
