BEHIND THE SCENE: I vividly remember that very special moment for me. It was my first day after arrival in LA in fall 2016. I was jetlaged, woke up at 4am and left to the beach in the dark. Wearing only a short trouser and a t-shirt, being super stressed out in need of that vacational trip I was freezing more than I thought. Waiting for the sun and warmth to appear I sat down at the skate park at Venice beach. Suddenly someone started playing an acoustic guitar and gave me the moment of a lifetime. Turned out it was one of the homeless people living there which I didn't notice sneaked up behind me. As the sun set I left the spot, went over to the pier and took some shots, one of which was this specific one. Later in post production I noticed that there was a couple already standing on the pier and surfers being in the water, which added quite some notes to the whole scenary. PRINTING: All prints will be on archival gallery-quality paper, labeled, signed and numbered on the back. This edition is strictly limited to 7.
