This picture shows Villa Alari Visconti, a villa close to Milan, Italy that has gone through many changes of owners and uses since the date it was built in 1730 by Giacinto Alari (source Wikipedia). For some years it has been an asylum for people with mental issues and I had called the photo, L'auberge des fous et des folles but this name 'disrespects' in a way its beauty and the city admins have once again changed its purpose, soon to be opened once again to visits as a museum so it's only fair to call it by the name of the villa itself. Edit of Jan2, 2023 The photo is one of my first #icm with ND filter and I've been quite lucky that the result/data acquired was not so bad. As I acquired knowledge on Lightroom and Photoshop l made further edits but I became happy with this version edited in Nik collection with a different preset created by myself. Actually, I am so happy that for all 2023 I'll make this A4 version in 'square' format, still on Hanhemule Photo Rag paper, unframed but open edition so without limitation and signed, at a lower cost than the previous version and also with Saatchi certificate. Shipping takes a bit longer including shipping, pls allow three to four weeks time as previously. Price for A4 size is 300€ plus shipping cost, unframed. Due to the nature of the material the photo is printed onto, no returns are allowed.

I take mostly #icm shots, intentional camera movement. Photography without emotion is nothing; icm captures interest with color first, then with the realization and understanding or intuition of what we are looking at, creating the need to watch again, for a much longer time than traditional pics and generating, as said, a strong emotion. From January 24, I will make available for print one or two photos for a limited period. I've been advised this is better than printing a limited nbr of images so I changed their status to 'not available'. The two photos available for print will remain as such until I load new photos. The ones that are no longer available may be purchased as unique print but will be erased after any private sale to preserve their status of 'unique' works.
