Alessandro Cirillo was born in Bari, where he lives and works. Free-lance photographer working with agencies, individuals, public entities. He regularly holds courses in photography at public and private schools. As of now his picture is moving in terms of linguistic research together with the constant incursion into the world of emotions. His work on their parents and homes where he lived are significant in this regard. In 1999 he won the Savignano Image with the committee chaired by Mario Cresci from which he was subsequently invited to participate in a selection of 25 young photographers to represent Italy in Arles, France, the festival Voies-Off. His images are part of public and private archives and in particular the collection of the Elysée Museum in Lausanne in Switzerland at the invitation of then-director Charles Henri Favrod, Giacomo Costa Foundation in Genoa, the collection of Palazzo Vendemini in Savignano sul Rubicon.
