VIEW IN MY ROOM
For a few years, I used to stroll on this bridge over the Cuiabá River, to photograph at sundown. This photograph is a decisive moment photographed. I was in the right place at the right time, and I was the right person. Riverine fishermen, residents of the neighborhoods near the river, in Cuiaba, the capital of Mato Grosso, keep practicing fishing in their small canoes. I called you Zen because I see in them the patience. It is in the Aluminum to express the glare of the reflections of the sky in the water .. and 60x40cm to conserve the bucolic air of the scene. Feel him up close! Original Unique (1/1) printed on Aluminum, with Certificate of Authenticity Signed by de Author.

Ordí Calder, Brazilian Contemporary Photographer Self-taught since 2002, full-time artist since 2011. "Ordí Calder is a fine art photographer from Brazil whose focus on the geometric interplay of light and shadow on atomized compositions take us on an arcane quest for the essential components of reality. Until a few months ago, if you were to ask to make a plausible connection between G.W. F. Hegel (a German philosopher whose existence on this earth straddled the 18th and 19th centuries), Fritz Lang (the German Expressionist film maker who gave us “Metropolis” in 1926), and Edward Weston (the American wunderkind of that 1st generation modernist fine art photographers) I’d be hard put to do so. But that was prior to encountering Ordi’s body of work. Today, the task is easy." by Jonathan Raddatz.
