During the summer we have a car show on Grand Avenue here in Escondido, CA. It's called Crusin' Grand and was established in 2000. Dozens and dozens of the old classics are parked along the street and in the side streets. Most, but not all, of the cars were built in the USA and are from the 30s, 40s and 50s. I was a teenager in the 50s so I'm a big fan of cars built in the 40s and 50s. I found this really cool '41 Chevy at the September 16th show and took a few photos. Then I went into Photoshop and came up with this image. These prints are digitally printed on vinyl which is then applied to black 6mm plastic (about 1/4"). Then a 1.25" offset is applied to the back so the print is set off from the wall. It's ready to hang. No glass. The ink is designed to last five-seven years in outdoor exposure so indoors it will last for decades.
