Born april 17th 1953 in Landshut/Bavaria. Lives and works in Paris since 1978. Declares his 'ART of DANGER' in 1984. Opens his first 'Art of Danger' exhibition at the Goethe-Institut of Paris (1988) in presence and under the patronage of Juliet MAN RAY, wife of the famous photographer and creator of 'Danger-Dancer'.

"Joerg Huber works with images which he has meticulously gathered and kept over years in his studio. It's an iconography of sundry provenance: images drawn from newspapers and magazines, occasionally mixed with images from TV and video screens. But when an image enters into the creative process of the work it is definitively cut from its source, detached from authentic context that formerly rooted it in time and space. The image leaves one universe to enter another - that of the artist.
By the application of certain chemicals, acids or waxes and coloured particles Joerg Huber approaches painting: the initial cold, mechanical image is endowed with life.
This work imposes nothing straight off, but suggests to and stimulates the viewer's imagination, sidelining all hesitation, all ambiguity."
