What/who inspired the work? The 'Lucky Losers' series, captured at Tuz Gölü (Salt Lake), was inspired by the uncertainties and unexpected paths I've encountered in my life. The vastness of the desert and the shadows of human figures reflect my exploration of the unknown and the new possibilities that each step brings. What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? I hope viewers will reflect on the uncertainties and opportunities life presents. This photograph is meant to evoke a sense of calm and contemplation, encouraging viewers to discover the deeper meanings and beauty behind every step of their own life journeys. I want it to provide a space for reflection and new perspectives on their personal paths. Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? I chose photography because of its power to capture a moment and convey its depth directly to the viewer. The unique and minimalist landscape of Tuz Gölü perfectly complemented the theme of this series. The vastness and reflections in the desert create a composition that prompts contemplation on the uncertainties of life and the possibilities each step brings. This minimalist and aesthetic style best conveys the story I aim to tell through the photograph.
