This collaboration with Maurizio Barut is born due to our profound friendship, a very dear person to me who's developing his job of "grafico di campagna" ( countryside graphic ) as he loves to define himself. The project took place by the fact that my collection was loaded with plenty of images, I thought that giving some of them to a person which I can trust and let him elaborate as he preferes could be an interesting idea. So I sent a portfolio with many of my photos choosing among different photographic techniques, Maurizio had the full editing freedom, without any specific requirement from me. Once I saw the result of his work I was enthusiastic. What was left for me to do was nothing else than give a name to those images and prepare them adequately in order to get everything ready for the printing final art. Thank you Maurizio for this precious partecipation, hopeing that everyone who lays his eyes on this collection will be fulfilled with emotions and appreciation. signed by the artists and certificate of authenticity included

It is useful for a musician to listen through the ears of other musicians, players whose judgements they trust. Similarly, with the work of visual artists: we are granted access to perspectives which, otherwise, we might miss. I trust Paolo's eyes: they see what I see, but with a framing and depth that encourage me to look closer. When I get that close, I see that Paolo has been there already; and is waiting for me to arrive at the same point. - Robert Fripp
