About The Artwork
In a woodland clearing two young men are cooking up a feast. As they wrestle with a cauldron over the heat of a fire, a number of animals look on, drawn to the feast by the irresistible smell of cooking. This print is an etching and aquatint made on a copper plate. It is printed on Somerset Velvet, a heavyweight 300 gsm handmade paper from St Cuthbert's Mill in Somerset. The print is in a limited edition of 75 and signed by the artist. The image size is 7.5 x 10 cm on a paper size is 17.5 x 20 cm.

I was born in Staffordshire, UK and was based in London for twenty years, where I taught fine art at University level while maintaining a career as a professional artist before leaving the teaching profession and concentrating solely on making art. For the last 18 years he has been based in Cadiz Province on the Costa de la Luz in southern Spain, where I make most of my work.
