About The Artwork
Printed on rice paper and mounted on wood panel Archivally prepared with UV varnish over top. Ready to hang. While printing I use stencils to block out areas of a plate. I print those stencils on rice paper and use them as the base for other images. Once I printed a couple of layers, the image reminded me of waves flowing up on the beach. I printed the orange circles to add a sense of movement and work as the spray of water as it hits the sand.
