I first came across Chica's tacos walking back to our Airbnb after a night at the Staples centre drinking tequila and watching the Lakers, taken by the neon sign I snapped a picture on my phone and continued to wind my way home.

I went back the following day with the big camera and snapped away In the daylight, catching the comings and goings. For the illustration I've imagined these comings and goings as a neon lit night scene.

The final piece is a nine colour screen print on 9mm birch plywood finished with a clear resin in an edition of 12.

All the details are stamped on the reverse, where it is also signed. This piece is ready to hang without framing.
