Printmaking: Woodcut, Paper on Paper.
As a human and artist I like to observe nature that is around me. Everything is nature even me (human) as part of nature.
It is the best thing where to get inspiration. It always changes, it never is the same.
On the other hand human - people - man (in general) is the object who can immortalise the moment (the thing he see at the moment or at the time period of his life). So next generations can see/ observe what was heppened long time ago and find the difference of the real life.
The same thing happened many centuries ago. When peoplemade drawings on the walls of the caves.
This artwork was inspired from the Stone age drawings. That is wonderfull. The forms of animals from the woodcut reminds old drawings.. But they are not immortalised! The movement is happening there. Because of lines and different placement of animals.
I hope that the viewer will feel like he gets inside of this movement. And the movement always develops every part of life. This is how evolution happens (or it is my view point).
I like to work with woodcut. With wood. Because it always interesting what will happen with it. What will be seen on the paper.
I like to observe and draw nature. ANd it is interesting to make it a little bit unrealistic.
