About The Artwork
This graphic was inspired by paintig of Gustav Klimt who influnces my art to a great degree. Originally I wanted to paint a colorful painting inspired by "Waterserpents" by Gustav Klimt. In the process of creation when I worked on composition I came to realisation that an initial sketch is a good starting point for a graphic so I went on working until the rhythms, weights and melody of lines came together creating integral and strong picture. This prints attracts people's attention and doesn't leave them indiffrent. I hope that it will also move Saatchi's audience and resemble great Gustav Klimt. Watercolored linocut, limited edition of 500 prints, signed and numbered by author, printed on Canson paper in the press.

I believe that true art has a spiritual depth, its own mystery, life of its own. It is a poetry of sight. I draw my inspiration mainly from Japanese Art, Italian Renaissance and Vienner Secession. The most significant figure for me in art is undoubtedly Gustav Klimt whose paintings I absolutely adore. Creating art usually takes me a long time. I repaint my work numerous times in order to find the right melody, integrity and spiritual depth, the music in it I believe that a good art is "ever green" that is, we never get bored with looking at it. It will continue to amaze us and it will constantly attract our attention. I hope that viewers at Saatchi Art will get such a feeling when they look at my works.
