ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece is inspired by my love of houses, building, architecture. Each house, mansion, office block ,any construction from shed to palace has its own caractere, lines, shape, size... I wanted to create a patterned art piece using a strong black and white image adorned with coloured shapes. This print is a linocut, using chine collé technique to create a limited variable edition.

I am a french artist working and living in the U.K. I started printmaking at the Slade School of Art and never looked back. I have a particular interest in drypoint, etching, chine colle. I like mixing traditional printmaking techniques. I am a member of The Oxford Printmakers and exhibit with them several times a year. I have had a few solo shows, in France and in the UK and currently working on art exchange project between OPC and Hotbed press, Artomat in the US and opening a small gallery. My art is inspired by the little things that form the bigger picture, personal maps and landscapes.
