The Magic Bug is a symbol of love, hope, compassion... All that is positive. The bug is designed as a viral molecule. If you catch the bug, there is no cure. Vibrant colors were chosen to identify with positive attributes and a pop art asthetic. When composed in an abstract manner, it creates a sense of movement. It conveys the feeling of coming together with action or just complete chaos. Each molecule is seen as an individual yet part of the group. And, they’re simply just fun to look at! The Magic Love Bug is a typographic message of the Magic Bug. Inspired by Robert Indiana’s work, the Magic Love Bug series celebrates the unconditional love and community.

The Magic Bug is a love molecule. Vibrant color patterns help to convey the love theme. Each being uniquely different, the Magic Bugs represent individuals such as you and I. This diversity of vibrant color suggest that we are all interconnected. I've created compositions based on the interconnection concept. They explore love as a chaotic frenzy or a melodic dance. An influence over others as well as an introspective of self. Love is Contagious!
