Comparative mythology of early civilizations and indigenous cultures is here integrated with my own interpretations of labyrinth shapes. Oval and circle are symbols of generative powers in nature and living beings. Fire of red and orange are giving even stronger accent to same ideas. Black was used in early cultures for it's suggestive power. Whiteness of the paper is integrated to bring forth elements of color and line to their maximum expression. Painting on the plate and it's imprint on paper through mechanical press produced only one unique piece of art. Paper size: 15.75"×11.25" (40×28.5 cm) Image size: 11"×9.5" (28×24 cm)
